Stanley Tools Chooses Rutland Plywood
as its Level Blank Supplier

After a demanding worldwide search process, Stanley Tools of New Britain, CT has chosen Rutland Plywood Corporation as its supplier of choice for the hardwoods to be used in its line of professional grade mason’s levels.  These levels are sold through hardware retailers around the world.

Stanley Tools chose Rutland Plywood Corporation Engineered Hardwood Components (ECH) for use in its levels to replace Spanish Cedar.  The laminates are 100% inspected for defects and offer no surprises during the manufacturing process.  In addition, the laminate offers superior dimensional stability and ease of machining than the Spanish Cedar.  Because the laminate comes in pre cut blanks which can be placed directly into their automated manufacturing system, Stanley was able to take several steps out of their process.  These hardwood levels will be manufactured at Stanley’s Central Vermont manufacturing plant.
