Outline of Hourly Employee Benefits

The following is a brief outline of employee benefits and is meant to highlight areas of interest and should not be considered a complete summary. For detailed information on each plan, please refer to the Human Resource Department.

 


Group Health Plan (Medical Benefits)

We provide medical, dental and pharmaceutical prescription coverage. Some key aspects are: Employee contributions (single/double/family) of $10.20, $15.30 and $25.50 per week. $30.00 co-pay per doctor visit. Medical deductibles of $1000 single / $2000 family. Rx co-pays of $5 generic / $20 preferred brand / $45 non-preferred brand.

Dental Coverage

Rutland Plywood offers fully covered preventative care with $50 deductible for tier 2 / tier 3 care and $1500 per year individual cap.

Vacation

The Company provides paid vacation of 2 weeks (10 days) for service to 10 years; 3 weeks (15 days) for service after 10 completed years; 4 weeks (20) days for service over 15 completed years.

Rutland Plywood offers its employees 10 paid holidays each year.

Personal Days

Employees earn paid personal days on their anniversary date:

Qualified Personal Absence per year
1 through 9 years 2 days
10 through 14 years 3 days
15 through 24 years    4 days
25 years and over 5 days

Short-Term Disability

If a physician determines you are unable to work, partial wage replacement coverage is provided (at no cost to employee) for 13 weeks at 70% .

Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment

At no employee cost, Rutland Plywood provides life insurance in the amount of three times (3x) annual wage with an accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) rider which doubles (2x) the previous coverage.

401K Profit Sharing
Retirement Plan

A retirement plan is available allowing pre-tax savings which can be invested in a variety of options from conservative to high risk. The plan includes opportunity for a discretionary match from the Company, determined annually.

Corporate Bonus Program

Based upon company results, a determination is made at the close of each quarter, to share profits with employees. Distribution amounts are based upon individual earnings in that quarter, attendance and safe work history.

Wage Progression

Material Handler temporay level $8.50
Material Handler full time level $8.75
Machine Operator $9.35/hr.
Advanced Machine Operator $9.85/hr.
Foreperson in training $10.10/hr.
Foreperson $13.60/hr.
Maintenance Dept. $9.00 and up depending on experience
Shift Differential of $0.35/hr. additional for Third Shift hours
and $0.25/hr. for Second Shift hours
